Both topo and aerial maps can be viewed with enhanced shaded relief. Save, email and print any topo map from your computer. You can also create and download GPS waypoints.

Google Maps allows you to get directions and zoom in on satellite imagery, where available. Free to use.

Google Earth combines mapping technologies with their searching facilities to allow you to zoom in on satellite imagery, and maps. This is a free tool, however for small annual subscription fee, you can upgrade to add their GPS device support, import spreadsheets, drawing tools, and allows better printing.

Toporama displays the information from the Canadian Government's National Topographic Data Base which is used by the Centre for Topographic Information in Ottawa to produce topographic maps.

Geogratis is a web and file transfer protocol (ftp) site that distributes geospatial data of Canada. Data is available for download, without charge. Vector mapping data is available in scales ranging from 1:50 000 to 1:30 000 000 in a variety of file formats. Not all vector layers are in all scales. Similarly, several types of full resolution satellite imagery are on-line.
