SpruceNeedle.com Forums Rules and Guidelines

1. All forums are moderated. The key to a successful, enjoyable message board forum is strict moderation. This will eliminate the spam, harassment, vulgarity, etc. common in other forums. SpruceNeedle.com's moderating relies on its member's karma ranking system.
2. Your points ranking allows you to moderate. You earn points by adding quality content to this site, either through posting your adventure stories, product reviews, adding to the photo gallery, voting on your favourite books and links, or submitting an article.
   
   Member Point System
   All new members begin as grasshoppers. As your ranking increases, you can move on to chickadee, squirrel, lynx, and hopefully someday, a grizzly. Each level increase gives you more power to moderate other people's posts and comments.
   
   Grasshopper (0 - 100 points)
   Chickadee (101 - 500 points)
   Squirrel (501 - 1000 points)
   Lynx (1001 - 1500 points)
   Grizzly (1500+ points)
