African WildCam with Sound! Message #3
Until December 8th, you can view the wildlife via a webcam from Botswana, Africa!

The cam is focused on Pete's Pond, pans around, and zooms in.  You can even hear birds chirping!  The technology is sophisticated.  Because Pete's Pond is in a very remote location in southern Africa, the feed is transmitted via satellite.

Peak viewing time is 7 am until noon Botswana Time, and again from 4-6pm Botswana Time.  If you miss viewing the live feed, you can watch recorded highlights from the WildCam.

I see more elephants than I can count right now and some ostriches!

 Even at midnight! # 3
It is midnight in Botswana, but I can still see! I don't know if there is a light on the camera, or night vision, or how this works, but I just saw an elephant taking a drink from the pond!

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen online!
